SE Racing Quadangle 24″ Cruiser BMX – 2008 new school edition

SE Racing Quadangle 24″ Cruiser BMX – 2008 new school edition
In 2008 SE Racing produced a 24″ cruiser version of the legendary Quadangle of the late 1970’s and early 80’s.
The original Quadangles were only done as 20″ frames, and as a collector, the 24″ cruiser size appeals to me much more, from a rideable standpoint.
I saw a build of this new school frameset on OS-BMX.com, and after wanting the frameset for a while, I was finally inspired to pull the trigger.
I am super happy I did, as this bike rides GREAT and has a terrific feel. Full chromo, it feels smooth and fast on the pumptrack and at the local BMX track.
I had an S&M Motoman chainwheel sitting in my parts box, a nice old school tribute piece that I didn’t yet have a bike for, and I think it works perfectly for this build.
Frameset came direct from OS-BMX.com, other build parts came from ColoredTuffs.com, or from my own private stash.
These blue 24″ Quad framesets come up once in a while on ebay, and for 2009 SE Racing has a pearl white version of the 24″ Quadangle, same bike, different color, absolutely positively worth a look.
