Hawaii trip 2010- Robyn, Nicci, Chip and Jenel

We had a fantastic winter trip to Hawaii in January and February 2010. Nicci’s sister Jenel and her husband Chip were able to come out for a week. It was their first real vacation anywhere, and it was really a special time.

BMX Racing at County Line BMX in Denver- June 2010

I have been racing BMX quite a bit in 2010. This past weekend I took three of the neighborhood kids to race for their first time, three siblings, and not only did they all do great, they all won trophies.

Hawaii DH Trails- St. Louis Heights- Pics and Dumps video

I try to get to Hawaii once a year for vacation. I grew up in Hawaii, and with an adult perspective, I really miss the great things that it offers. I usually take a bike with me, and since there are some great DH trails running down St. Louis Heights, I take my Intense M6 downhill bike.

Arapahoe Cyclery- great bike shops Colorado

Arapahoe Cyclery is my home shop in Colorado. Located on South Broadway in Littleton (south Denver), Arapahoe Cyclery is a family oriented bike shop with a wide selection ranging from kids bikes, comfort bikes and cruisers, to higher end road and mountain bikes. They also have a BMX selection. Giant and Trek brands are the main focus.

Martini Zoo- Honolulu Hawaii- super excellent poke!

Martini Zoo is a sports bar food spot owned in part by a great old friend of mine, Travis McKay.

Located at 1683 Kalakaua Ave in Honolulu, it is just outside Waikiki, mountain side of Kapiolani Blvd. Walking distance from Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ala Moana beach park.

The Bike Shop Hawaii- great store, great rentals

I first went to The Bike Shop on King Street back in the early 80’s, 1981 or 1982. I was living in Maui, in grade school, and racing BMX. In my small world, I thought The Bike Shop was the coolest shop in the world.
